Is my code safe?
Yes. We only read metadata headers—commit counts, PR status, line change numbers. We never access or store your source code. Read-only access.
Can I choose which repos to track?
Absolutely. When you install the app, you select which repositories to grant access to. You control what gets tracked.
How is the velocity score calculated?
We combine commits, PRs merged, and lines of code (additions + deletions). The formula is weighted to reward consistency and meaningful output.
Is the leaderboard really public?
Yes. BiP is build in public—your velocity and rank are visible to everyone. That's the point: accountability and social proof.
