What You'll Do

Architect, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Django, contributing to both consumer and B2B platforms.
Take full ownership of features from conception to production deployment, ensuring reliability and performance in a high-impact environment.
Design and implement new APIs for our consumer dashboard and customer reporting, and enhance performance for critical Celery and RabbitMQ pipelines.
Integrate with essential third-party services, including payment providers (e.g., Stripe) and identity providers (e.g., WorkOS SSO).
Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high code quality within a small, senior engineering team.

What We're Looking For

6+ years of professional experience building and scaling production web applications.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Python and the Django framework.
Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, concurrency, SQL, and system design.
Proven ability to take strong ownership of projects, demonstrate self-direction, and ensure thorough follow-through on all tasks.
Excellent written communication skills, with comfort working effectively in an asynchronous, remote-first environment across various time zones.
Practical experience with database tuning (e.g., PostgreSQL) and optimizing complex queries.
