What You'll Do
As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer at Comp, you will be embedded directly with our enterprise clients, playing a pivotal role in shaping and delivering custom AI-Native HR solutions. Your work will bridge the gap between complex business challenges and innovative technical implementations, ensuring our clients can leverage the full power of AI to transform their HR functions.
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of fullstack, AI-driven HR platforms and tools for enterprise clients.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, internal HR experts, and AI/Data Science teams to translate intricate business requirements into scalable technical architectures and solutions.
- Develop robust backend services using Node.js and craft intuitive, high-performance user interfaces with Next.js and React, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Integrate advanced AI capabilities, specifically leveraging Claude Code, to build intelligent agents and tools that provide real-time context, data, and recommendations.
- Drive technical excellence, including code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, maintainable software.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a seasoned Fullstack Engineer with a passion for innovation and a strong ability to work directly with clients to solve complex problems.
- 5+ years of professional fullstack development experience, with a proven track record in building and deploying enterprise-grade software solutions.
- Deep expertise in Node.js for backend development and extensive experience with React and Next.js for crafting dynamic and responsive frontends.
- Hands-on experience integrating and working with AI/LLM technologies, specifically Claude Code, or similar generative AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini).
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills, capable of understanding diverse business needs and translating them into technical specifications and impactful solutions.
- Strong understanding of architectural design patterns, database integration, API design, and modern development practices (CI/CD, testing, code quality).
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first, fast-paced environment, taking ownership of projects from inception through to successful deployment and ongoing refinement.
