As a Founding Engineer at Tightknit, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of our platform. You’ll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and scaling our core product, with a direct impact on our users' experience and the company's success. Responsibilities

Architect and implement scalable and performant full-stack features using React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries for data-intensive applications.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components.
Implement and fine-tune OpenAI models for various functionalities, such as natural language processing and automated content generation.
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall codebase.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and refine product requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Staff-level Fullstack Engineer.
Deep understanding of React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and OpenAI APIs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with serverless architectures.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Contributions to open-source projects.
Experience with GraphQL.
